From the oceanfront sun deck, a sandy pathway climbs over the dunes to deposit friends and family onto the wide, sandy beaches that make this corner of the world famous. Morning until night, build sand castles, ride waves on a boogie board, comb for shells, mastermind sandcastles or nap to the lullaby of ocean waves. Do nothing or everything.

It bears mentioning golf is a favorite pastime on the sixty-mile stretch of sun and sand call the Grand Strand. There are more than one hundred courses in the area, courses crafted by big names like Jack Nicklaus, Pete and P.B. Dye and Greg Norman. Miniature golf is a mainstay for vacation activity. Also nearby are live theatres, water parks and fishing charters, boat tours, museums and gardens and more restaurants than you could try in a month of Sundays.
