Couples and wedding guests love North Myrtle Beach.

Regardless of which you prefer: a dreamy beachside resort, a beach chapel or a country setting graced with moss-draped oaks, North Myrtle Beach, SC – and the greater Grand Strand area – has a host of wedding locations guaranteed to please the special couple and their invited guests. Soft, sandy beaches, memorable vistas and a hearty dose of Southern hospitality area are among the many reasons brides and grooms choose our stretch of sand for a destination wedding.

Once upon a time, June weddings were a conventional choice, but the reality is that mild coastal temperatures make Myrtle Beach and surrounding areas the perfect place to tie the knot almost any time of the year. January through March, temperatures average in the 60s. In spring and fall, 70s and even low 80s are typical. At the height of the summer, consider the reality that late afternoon showers are fairly common. On the whole, though, the sun rides high well more two hundred days of every year.

Only noncommercial weddings are allowed on public beaches, but local wedding planners know all the details regarding nuptials at the water's edge. Along more than sixty miles of Grand Strand – from Little River and North Myrtle Beach south to Pawleys Island and Georgetown, extraordinary locations abound.
