The original tongue and groove walls and ceilings were kept to reflect the charm of the original beach cottages in the Tilghman Beach neighborhood in North Myrtle Beach, SC built in the middle of the last century. Original hardwood floors were exposed and refinished to create a clean look on the main floor with up-to-date furnishings and accessories.
This large 7-bedroom beach house has plenty of room for everyone to enjoy their own space. Gather your family in the large living room that opens to the dining room and screened porch. All three rooms have great views of the ocean, located just across the street. The upstairs houses the master bedroom and bathroom plus a second large bedroom with a hall bathroom. Downstairs boasts five bedrooms and three bathrooms. The house sits on a large corner lot with plenty of room for whiffle ball games and games of tag. And don't forget about the grill - perfect for an evening cookout with some fresh local seafood or burgers and hot dogs.
An outdoor shower allows easy rinse-offs after a day at the beach or a vigorous run through the lovely surrounding neighborhood of Tilghman Beach in North Myrtle Beach. Beach access is just steps away through the public walkway with a boardwalk right over the dunes to the expansive stretch of beach, away from the high rises on either end of this famous section of North Myrtle Beach. This location makes you feel a little removed from the crowds but remains ideally situated to great restaurants and shopping.
