This is a family rental property that is located in a quiet, residential community. No groups or house parties allowed.
Adherence to maximum occupancy, parking, trash and noise ordinances is required and strictly enforced - any violation will result in eviction.

This was our second time staying at this lovely home. We appreciate how easy the owners have made it for us to have our pup with us! The front and back porches plus the backyard are fenced and gated, so our pup could sit out with us and enjoy being outside without the hassle of us trying to use baby gates. A real plus for all of us! We noticed and enjoyed the refreshed bedroom furniture and mattresses. The rest of the home is well-appointed and comfortable. We hope to stay thee again next year.!

We have truly enjoyed staying at this property. The layout is perfect and there is plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything that you might need which made it very easy to cook here instead of going out to eat. I love the fact that it has a floating dock where the kids could fish. We were also able to keep the boat tied up for the weekend. It’s very close to the inlet so we went over there instead of going to the beach since it is less crowded. We will definitely stay at this property again.
We have enjoyed our stay here. Everything was very nice. The only thing is more lighting in the backyard so you can see to fish and enjoy sitting in the chairs. We noticed pretty lights in the trees but didn’t see where we could turn them on. We enjoyed our stay 😀
Loved how our dogs could run around in the fenced in area. The home felt very welcoming. Nice porch on front for mornings and back deck nice for evening time. When I had to contact the management I got quick responses. Would recommend this place. We were close to beach and places to eat and grocery store. We had everything we needed to cook with.

We love the house. The only problem I have found is that there’s not a grill on the property that I have found yet.
It was a great house in a great location!
We enjoyed our stay. Porches were great to enjoy sun, shade, sunset, breezes! We booked as 3 BR, 3 Bath. I had read another review and knew that the bathroom configuration was not where each bath attached with each BR. That was fine. However, one bathroom is TUB only. That caused us a bit of a problem because we needed showers in each bathroom. May not matter to other groups but just FYI. House was very comfortable, clean, and we still enjoyed our stay. Wish we had known about the configuration ahead of time. The neighborhood is very nice and we felt safe the entire time. Walkable distance to the beach. Of note also is there is no working lift or elevator so be ready to tote all your stuff up the flight of stairs….pack light! This is certainly not a negative review but just for informational purposes. You will enjoy Almost Retired!
Love the house. So far everything is great. Had a great nights sleep my first night here. I found everything in the house very clean. Outside was OK. Squeegee in the shower would be helpful.
Great house, great stay, please leave better instructions for us technically not inclined about operating the freezer, ice maker and refrigerator.

The home is clean, and on a canal in a quiet area. The kitchen is well stocked. Every cleaning product imaginable under kitchen sink.

Beautiful home
We were enjoying it stay until hurricane Debbie showed up. Even though our vacation was cut short we still enjoyed our stay at Almost Retired. It was a beautiful home.
Almost Retired worked out perfect for our family. We had 6 adults and 2 smaller dogs. Easy walk to the beach. Plenty of TV's and the fenced in astroturf yard was awesome for the dogs. It is a 3 bedroom and 3 bathroom home, however each bedroom doesn't have its own bathroom. Rather 2 bedrooms share 1 of the bathrooms and the other bathroom has access from the living area. Not a big deal but that may be important to some people. Plenty of silverware, glassware and kitchen gadgets as well. We will strongly consider staying here again next year.
