Adherence to maximum occupancy, parking, trash, and noise ordinances is required and strictly enforced - any violation will result in eviction.
The details of Rudd's Roost begin with a pet-friendly stay and a house vacation rental setting in Crescent Beach, North Myrtle Beach. Rudd's Roost has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and sleeps 6 guests. This is a second-row house, rather than an oceanfront property. The bedroom and bathroom counts help you plan sleeping arrangements and daily routines before the trip, while the 6-guest capacity sets the size of your group.
The dishwasher takes care of one of the everyday jobs that can otherwise interrupt time together. Clear the dishes, then get back to your vacation plans. Before the visit, talk through what each person hopes to do during the time away. Shared plans can be as simple as agreeing on a morning start or leaving an evening free. Keeping those preferences in mind helps the trip reflect your group rather than a crowded itinerary.
Laundry facilities are on the premises, making it possible to keep up with clothing during a longer stay. You can work a wash into your plans as needed. Very clean. I love the wood paneling and the older wooden furniture. Nice A/C. Thanks for sharing your house and allowing me to bring my fur baby.
This is our second time staying at Rudd’s Roost. Quite honestly would probably would not have decided on coming to Myrtle Beach had this house not been available. The house is well kept, lots of room and we can bring our dogs. We love the 3 minute walk to the beach.
I would highly recommend Rudd’s Roost. It’s perfect in location and the house is played off great for a couple or a family. It’s also pet friendly quiet neighborhood for walks the beach is right across the street with public access just a 1/4 block away! Nice small yard for kids and pets. The front porch makes it perfect sit out at night and listen and watch the ocean! Parking in the back for two vehicles is also nice.
We enjoyed our stay at this house, the lawn needs some up keep but its the winter now.
The furnishings could use an upgrade. The layout of the house is great! The yard is nice and the location is amazing. I would stay here again.
We have been at this property a dozen times over the years. I have never seen it so clean, tidy, and well maintained and appropriated; inside and out. Bravo!!

Kitchen light above the sink is not working but no problem
We stayed at Rudd's Roost from 5/10 - 5/17/25. We liked the fact that it was a one-story house and that it was in a convenient location from the beach and from the entertainment areas and restaurants. We also liked the combination lock system. It is an older house, but there was plenty of room for the 4 of us. The bathrooms had nice upgrades. It was nice to sit on the front porch in the evening. Unfortunately, one of the sofas in the living room could stand to be replaced, as the fabric was deteriorating and the cushions were worn out. We did have ample parking behind the house. All in all, we had a very good stay, and we would certainly consider staying there again.
