Winter Wonderland at the Beach

Every year the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk transforms into a magical, oceanfront winter wonderland that you won’t want to miss. Stroll along the mile-long Boardwalk and experience a one-of-a-kind light display nightly from 5-9pm starting November 28th through January 3rd.

The Great Christmas Light Show

More than 2 million twinkling lights stretch out over 2 miles throughout North Myrtle Beach Park and Sports Complex creating a truly enchanting drive-through experience. Visit Santa’s Village and indulge in tasty treats, ride Santa’s Express Train Ride and much more! The park will be open nightly from 5:30-9:30pm starting November 24th through December 30th (Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas). Santa’s Village is open Thursday-Sunday ONLY from November 28th-December 7th.

Nights of a Thousand Candles

One of the most beloved holiday events takes place at Brookgreen Gardens as over 2,500 candles twinkle throughout the gardens. From 4-9pm walk the paths and listen to holiday music as you sip on warm cider and watch the gardens come to life! Tickets available November 28th-30th, December 4th-21st, December 30th-31st, January 1st-4th

The South’s Grandest Christmas Show

Create new holiday traditions at Myrtle Beach’s #1 Christmas Show. Alabama Theater puts on an enchanting and heartwarming show, with classic Christmas songs, dancing, and laughter. Running November-December, get your tickets today and immerse yourself in the holiday spirit!

The Christmas Show of the South

The Carolina Opry Christmas Special is celebrating its 40th season starting November 1st. This unforgettable holiday experience brings the spirit of Christmas alive with music, dancing, and comedy. Early reservations are strongly recommended!  

Christmas on Main

Enjoy a festive evening of live music and laughs at the Greg Rowles Legacy Theater. Starting November 1st, celebrate Christmas on Main Street and start a new holiday tradition!

Tree Lightings

Lighting of the Landing

Barefoot Landing is a popular attraction for shopping, dining, and entertainment with a scenic location along the Intracoastal Waterway. Kick off the season with an evening of entertainment by local dance groups and the Alabama Theater. The show starts at 6pm on November 22nd at the Dockside Village with a tree lighting ceremony and fireworks to follow!

McLean Park

Gather with loved ones at North Myrtle Beach’s Christmas Tree lighting at McLean Park. Join Santa and friends for stage performances, music and caroling on December 2nd at 6pm.

The Market Common

The Market Common is a coastal, upscale shopping experience that comes to life with festive holiday décor every year! On November 22nd from 6-8pm, feel the magic of the season with Santa's arrival, performances, photo opportunities, and of course, the lighting of the tree!

Holiday Parades

North Myrtle Beach’s Christmas Parade

Join together and slip into the holiday spirit at the North Myrtle Beach Christmas Parade. Taking place December 6th at 5:30pm on Main Street, enjoy a night of lighted floats and festive cars representing the community.

41st Annual Intracoastal Christmas regatta

Flock to the waterfront to view this special parade as it travels down the Intracoastal Waterway on November 29th. This festive maritime parade starts at the Little River Inlet at 5pm and travels south. Several restaurants along the parade route plan special menus for the celebration! Eat, drink and be merry!

A Very Broadway Christmas Parade

Located in the heart of Myrtle Beach, Broadway at the Beach features over 300 acres of shopping, dining, and family-friendly attractions. Taking place December 6th at 11am, A Very Broadway Christmas Parade features bands, classic cars, stilt walkers and more! You can even get head start on Christmas shopping while you're there!
