Nestled at the corner of Beach Place and Ocean Boulevard, this second-row resort features ocean views as there is no development on the oceanfront here. All you have to do is cross the street to reach the wide, sandy beach, where you can lounge lazily all day on a beach chair, breaking only to build an occasional sandcastle. Whether you are on the beach at high tide or low tide, the view is spectacular. Keep an eye open for passing dolphins and lull yourself to sleep under the sun by counting waves. Ocean Forest Plaza is a second-row resort that has a swimming pool for swimming and a hot tub for soaking. An indoor swimming pool gives you a chance to take a break from the sun without taking a break from the pool. This resort is within walking distance of Buckets Bar and has WIFI access, so you can access all the other attractions, restaurants, and shops that are nearby.
Spend your vacation at Ocean Forest Plaza 1411. This Myrtle Beach rental condo has one bedroom and one full bath. A kitchenette is all you need for a vacation. Keep drinks cold and have the ability to make some cinnamon rolls for breakfast and a frozen pizza for lunch when you have a small stove like this rental does. The coffee maker is so you can brew your own fresh pot each morning of your vacation and then walk out to the balcony without having to change out of your pajamas. A couple flatscreen CCTVs and DVD players allow your family to watch two things at once, though you are likely more tempted to just sit on the balcony and watch the Atlantic Ocean right across the street.

My wife and I had an enjoyable stay at Ocean Forest Plaza unit 1411 in late April 2023 for 8 days. It was our first time in Myrtle Beach and we were happy that this area is quiet and away from all the hustle & bustle of the main South Myrtle Beach strip. The condo was very clean, well maintained, and fully equipped and we loved having our morning coffee on the balcony every morning watching the sun rise and listening to the ocean waves and the birds. We enjoyed walking on the beach every day. There are no stores nearby so you do need a vehicle but about 5 blocks away is Kings Hiway which has lots of stores and restaurants within a short drive along the Grand Strand. We prepared breakfast and some lunches in our unit, but went out for a good meal every day. Elliot Beach Rentals were very helpful and kept us well informed by text messaging about when our unit was ready, and how to readily contact them for any issue or concerns. Their office is just across the street. The building has a heated indoor pool but we spent most of our afternoons lounging beside the outside pool when we weren’t on the magnificent beach. It was a relaxing visit (after the 2 day drive) and we hope to be back here to this condo or building again.
Stayed at Ocean Forest Plaza #1411. Unit has a small(but very well stocked) kitchen, 2 double beds and a sleeper sofa. Coin operated laundry located on 7th floor with many washers and dryers ($2 to wash, $2 to dry). The unit was clean, a good AC, beds comfortable, and the building itself was very clean and well maintained. Security was seen frequently walking around the grounds. Wonderful oceanfront view. We loved the location. Adjacent to the Golden Mile section of Myrtle Beach and away from the hustle and bustle and shenanigans of the strip. It was pretty, quiet and not very crowded on the beach, and a short drive to anything of interest in the Grand Strand.
